21 Day Challenge

I know, I know

I’ve not blogged for a few days…mostly because I’m exhausted by the end of the day and just want to sleep.  It sucks but I just had to take a break.  So I’ll start all over again today.  Because that’s what you do when you fall off the tracks-you get right back on and keep on.

1. 3 Gratitude’s
2. Journal About 1 Positive Experience That Day
3. Exercise
4. Meditation
5. 1 Random Act of Kindness

21 Day Challenge

All I want to do is sleep.

Right now, I’m forcing myself to stay awake and make this blog post.  Some days are going to be easier doing this, I think.

I’ve also lost track of what number of day this is.  I don’t really care either.  As long as I’m doing it, right?

1. 3 Gratitude’s
2. Journal About 1 Positive Experience That Day
3. Exercise
4. Meditation
5. 1 Random Act of Kindness

I think y’all are getting the picture by now.

21 Day Challenge

Sometimes I’m so thankful for all the blessings and acceptance I have that I just cry.

I don’t know why I cry.  Maybe they’re happy tears.  But I have a feeling that they are somewhat sad tears for all the people I know that don’t have the love and acceptance I have.  There are so many people out there who need a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen and don’t have it.  And I have so many people willing to listen to what I’m feeling or hear the story of what happened to me.  So thankful.

This leads me to my 21 Day Challenge for the day.  Let me remind you (and myself!) what the five things we’re supposed to do to become more positive are-

1. 3 Gratitude’s
2. Journal About 1 Positive Experience That Day
3. Exercise
4. Meditation
5. 1 Random Act of Kindness

21 Day Challenge

Let’s see about my random act of kindness…

It’s not a very big one, but I helped clean up after a ceremony today.  I carried (well, more accurately, dragged) folding chairs, one at a time to where we put them away.  My upper body is still not very strong so I’m not all that able to lift things but I manage if I have to.  I also gave someone who was in distress a hug (after asking her if it was ok because I know what unwanted physical contact feels like) because she seemed like she really needed one and I felt it was my duty to make her feel better (never a good thing to feel like it’s your duty to make someone else feel better but we’ll just ignore that for a bit).  Then I smiled at her and told her that everything was ok right now.  Just gotta keep going.

I think I’m going to put my feet up and do some reading.  I put a bunch of different books on my kindle for my trip to SA and only ended up reading half of one on the plane.  I guess I was too preoccupied with the potential scariness of the plane ride. 🙂 heh.
